This college football betting preview of the Mississippi vs. LSU game is brought to you by is SBG Global where the line opened at: LSU - 5, Total 54.5.

The LSU Tigers made a remarkable comeback last week, winning 40-31 over Troy after trailing 31-3.  The problem for LSU is that they look very beatable now, even at home.  They host the Rebels on Saturday in a game that should be close.  The last three times they have played Mississippi at home, the Tigers have won, but by a combined seven points.

SBG Global reports that early college football betting has the public taking LSU at Home.

Last week in the win over Troy, redshirt freshman quarterback Jarrett Lee played well in the fourth quarter and the defense held Troy to 69 yards in the latter half of the game. "I like the momentum of the finish," LSU coach Les Miles said. "I like the position of our team now. I think we are looking forward."

Mississippi has proven they can play with the best teams in the country this season.  They lost 24-20 to #1 Alabama earlier this year and lost 30-28 to Wake Forest.  They also gave #4 Florida their only loss of the season. "That team beat Florida in Gainesville. Our team understands what that means." Miles said. Mississippi head coach Houston Nutt knows all about coaching against the Tigers. "This will be my 11th time, as a head coach, going against LSU. They always look the same to me - good in a uniform," said Nutt, "They've got some awfully good football players. We've got to be physical in a game like this."  Last week the Rebels routed Louisiana-Monroe 59-0 as quarterback Jevan Snead threw for three touchdowns and ran for two TD's.

Here are the college football betting stats for Saturday's game. The Rebels are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games in November. The Rebels are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games.
