Indiana and TCU will meet for the third time since 1950 when they meet in a nationally televised game on ESPN 2 on Wednesday. The Hoosiers are coming off a 70-54 loss to #5 Gonzaga while TCU has won six in a row. Indiana is 182-18 (.907) all-time in Assembly Hall against non-conference teams, including 3-0 this season. The Hoosiers are 12-1 all-time against teams from the Mountain West Conference.  SBG Global reports that early college basketball line has the public taking TCU on the Road.

Indiana has a lot of young talent in head coach Tom Crean's first season. Tom Pritchard is the Big Ten's top rookie scorer and rebounder. Freshman Daniel Moore leads rookies in steals and is second in assists. Six of the top seven scorers for the Hoosiers are true freshmen. Devan Dumes is the second leading scorer for the Hoosiers averaging 12.1 points per game.

TCU is looking to win their 7th straight game on Wednesday. Defense has been leading the way for the Horned Frogs as they have held their last six opponents to a combined 38.9 shooting percentage. In each of the last five games the Frogs' defense has held opponents to 15 points fewer than their season average coming into the game. TCU is being led by Kevin Langford who has started 70 consecutive games.  He has posted double-digits in 53 of those games.  He needs just 65 points to reach the 1,000-point milestone and become the 16th player in TCU history to reach the mark in less than three full seasons.

Here are the college basketball betting stats for Wednesday's game. The Horned Frogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Horned Frogs are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games.

The Hoosiers are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Hoosiers are 5-15 ATS in their last 20 Wednesday games.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
