One of the advantages of reading Gambling911.com is you get an inside look at what the online bookies are seeing with March Madness betting action.  As such, we can offer you their picks.

The top 2009 March Madness pick of the day was no doubt Western Kentucky.

"Some of the finest people in America if not the world were educated at Big Ten schools but that doesn't explain why the Big Ten has seven places at the Dance this year," stated Frank Doyle of Sportsinteraction.com.  "Illinois was 24-9 for the season overall, 11-7 in the Big Ten, four games behind Michigan State, and now the word is that the Illini guard Chester Frazier is unlikely to see much playing time at all because of a hand injury. Western Kentucky was good enough to beat Louisville back in November, and the Hilltoppers are definitely good enough to cover 4.5 against Illinois. Western Kentucky +4.5 with Sports Interaction is the pick."

Sportsinteraction.com was offering a FREE $100 for those opening an online betting account.

Carrie Stroup, who reports on behalf of Sportsbook.com, received word that they too were on Western Kentucky Wednesday.

"Number 12 seeds like Western Kentucky, who are tourney tested and have won 70% of their games, are historically a good play. Western Kentucky upset Drake as a 12-seed last year and even though they lost Courtney Lee, holdover guards A.J. Slaughter and Orlando Mendez-Valdez are very good. Illinois suffers from severe scoring droughts at times and the Hilltoppers could easily pull the upset."

Sportsbook.com was giving back 5 percent on all losses during the month of March for those who opened an online betting account.

Doyle also like Utah State at +4 ½ and LSU at -2 ½.

A real shocker comes from Sportsbook.com who like Morgan State to beat Oklahoma...okay, let's rephrase that - to COVER Oklahoma.

Then again...

"Morgan State is obviously far more attractive getting the points, but an outright win is a small possibility as well," Stroup reports.

Morgan State was getting +16 ½ points.

The one we like to some degree is Sportsbook.com's pick on North Dakota State over Kansas at +10.  North Dakota was actually getting tremendous one-sided action on the money line to win this game outright.

"Fourteen seeds like North Dakota State that average over 76.5 PPG have placed pressure on three seeds, being able to win outright about a third of the time.

"North Dakota State fits this particular profile at 80.8 PPG and has loads of senior talent. That is juxtaposed against three-seed Kansas, who returns no starters from their championship team of a year ago and could be ripe for an upset."
