Canadian Grand Prix

The Canadian Grand Prix has been on the Formula One schedule since 1967, although it was not held in 1975, 1987 and 2009. It has been held at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve since 1982, and it is named after the late Canadian driver who won this race in 1978, but died in a crash while qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix in 1982. His son, Jacques Villeneuve, also raced in Formula One and ended up having a fairly illustrious career. He is one of the most successful Canadian Formula One drivers in the history of the sport.

2016 Prediction From BetDSI.com

It is tempting to take Rosberg, who has won the first four races of the 2016 season. However, it could be danger to bet against Hamilton, only because he has four wins here. You could take either and it would be a fine choice, but Hamilton gets the nod because of his track record. Seven of the last nine winners have started either first or second, including five wins for the pole-winner, so that is something to keep in mind as you are making your bet.

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
