Florida vs. Mississippi State College Football odds had the Gators as -22 ½ at a few of the recreational and wise guy shops. 75 percent of the betting operations had this one at -23.

The Tennessee vs. Alabama College Football odds were at Crimson Tide -14 ½ at Hollywood Sports Book and just about everywhere else for that matter. Approximately 60 percent of the betting action was on Alabama. The line opened at -16 ½, so this one has dropped significantly.

San Diego Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs odds were between -4 ½ and -5 ½ with San Diego as the road favorite. Bodog.com offered the +5 ½ line for Kansas City while betED.com offered a line of -4 ½ for the Chargers.

The San Francisco 49ers vs. Houston Texans line has remained steady since opening at Houston -3 ½ earlier in the week. Since that time, the line has moved a mere half point down to -3 where all the books were holding at press time Thursday evening including Sportsbetting.com.

The two biggest disappointments in the ACC this season have been Florida State (2-4, 1-5 ATS) and North Carolina (4-2, 2-3 ATS). Both teams were improved last season with many positive signs and were expected to compete for the right to play in ACC championship game in 2009

Green Bay Packers vs. Cleveland Browns odds opened with the Packers as a -6 ½ favorite. The line has only moved up a half point at some online bookmakers though a few are still listing this one at -6 ½. Bookmaker.com was one of the few heading into Thursday afternoon that had Green Bay at -6 ½ odds.

The New York Jets vs. Oakland Raiders odds were sitting at Jets -6. Only a handful of online sportsbooks offered the line at -6 ½. Jets backers will want to bet their team at betED.com which was the only book we could find online offering odds of -5 ½. New York was getting 80 percent of the spread action.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Pittsburgh Steelers odds were listed at -4 nearly everywhere and this is where the line opened. Interestingly, around 85 percent of the betting action was on the Vikings. Bookmaker.com had the line at -4 with the line moving up a half point for a 12 hour period Tuesday.

Gamblers continued to hit the favorite hard even with the Indianapolis Colts vs. St. Louis Rams odds featuring a Colts team that was favored by up to -14 on the road. BetED.com did still list Indianapolis with odds of -13 at press time early Wednesday afternoon.

The New England Patriots vs. Tampa Bay Bucs odds were listed at Patriots -14 ½ at most online sportsbooks after opening at -14. New England was a huge road favorite getting nearly 100 percent of the early spread action so it should not surprise anyone that several of the recreational shops were pushing the line to -15 as a means of pushing more action towards the dog (the Bucs)

Tulsa vs. UTEP College Football odds opened at Tulsa -7. Some recreational online sportsbooks have moved the line to -8 while nearly everyone had odds on this game at -7 ½ as of Tuesday afternoon including BetUS.com. At least one "wise guy" shop had the line at -7.
