If you only get to see one game this weekend, make sure it is the Atlanta Falcons versus the Denver Broncos. This game will feature the best defense in the NFL, defending Super Bowl champions and only undefeated team in the AFC Denver Broncos and one of the best offences in the League, the Atlanta Falcons.  We have your betting preview for the Falcons vs. Broncos game below.

The Broncos have not served as hosts to the Falcons since 2004 and the two teams have not played each other in regular seasons since 2012, so neither has a lot of experience or insight into the game.

Quarterback Trevor Siemian injured his non-throwing shoulder in Sundayís game against the Buccaneers and had to leave the game early. He is still questionable to start in this weekís game but he did have limited practice time today. He has stated that he feels well enough and he could play even if he does get to practice. Coach Kubiac, has said that the teamís plans are for Siemian to start in Sundayís game, but for now they will take it day by day. Is this a strategy to keep Atlanta guessing what kind of offense they will be facing in this duel?

Regardless of whether its Siemian starting or Paxton Lynch is the one front and center, who by the way proved himself to be worthy in last weekís game; the real concern for the Atlanta Falcons this week is the Denver defense.

The Broncos defense is formidable to put it lightly, it could perhaps be the best defense in the last 20 years. Point in case, the Broncos opened as a 4.5 favorite despite not knowing who their starting quarterback will be, and has since moved up to -5.5, If that is not a testament of how great their defense is then I donít know what is. In 4 games they have only allowed two passing touchdowns, and they have 5 interceptions. Their secondary is solid, who impose themselves almost at will on other teams and it is incredibly difficult to keep them out of the backfield.

Atlanta is the type of team that is known for steamrolling past the defensive line of their opponents, but they are not great defenders, this could prove disastrous for them this week, with the amount of pressure the Broncos defense is sure to put on Matt Ryan, he will have a hard time completing passes.

Now, that is not to say that the Falcons are going to be sitting ducks, they do have the potential to score, Matty Ice as the Falcons quarterback is known, is one of the hottest QBís right now and wide receiver Julio Jones has been on fire lately. Ryan had 500 passing yards in the game against the Panthers and Jones had 300 receiving yards, this combination could be deadly if Denver lowers their defensive guard.

But this is unlikely, especially at home, if the game were being played in Atlanta, things might be a little different, especially since Siemian is questionable, but Denver playing at home will be tough to beat. This match will probably result in the lowest scoring game for the Falcons so far and their second loss of the season.

Game Pick

One thing to consider however, is, if the spread keeps moving against the Broncos, there might be some value in betting the Falcons. Keep an eye on the football betting line at AceSportsbook.com.
