Rob Ford Odds: Stopped Drinking After ‘Come to Jesus’ Moment (Video)

Toronto’s embattled crack smoking Mayor, Rob Ford, said he quit drinking following what he called a “come-to-Jesus” moment.

Ford made the comments in an interview broadcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Monday.  He had been stripped from powers by council members just hours before.

Ford is adamant he will not step down as Mayor of North America’s fourth largest city.  He went on to compare his battle with council members to that of Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990.

When asked by NBC’s “Today Show” host Matt Lauer if he still wants the job (of Mayor), Ford responded, “Absolutely”.

Live betting for real money was made available last week at Bodog.ca.
The biggest payout of the three options has Ford “Resigning as mayor” by year's end with 9-4 odds, followed by “Take temporary leave” at 3-2. The safest betting option is “Neither, will remain mayor” with 1-1 odds.

Gambling911.com offered odds of -110 for Ford to resign as Mayor prior to November’s 2014 Election.
