WSOPE Main Event Down to 67 Players

The 2008 WSOPE main event was now down to 67 players from 363 entrants. Poker pro Daniel Negreanu was still hanging in there after leading for a while heading into Monday. Negreanu was 7th in terms of chip count.

Leading the way was Erik Seidel, whose total live tournament winnings exceed 9,200,000.

Andy Bloch is another big name pro with the second largest chip count. Bloch is the humanitarian who donates all his Full Tilt Poker winnings to charity. His total live tournament winnings exceed $3,900,000.

In 3rd place heading into Tuesday was Brian Townsend. He's a regular at the highest stakes games on Full Tilt Poker. Townsend's total live tournament winnings were only a bit over $35,000 heading into this year's World Series of Poker Europe.

Another notable name among the top 10 - poker pro Mike Matusow, whose total live tournament winnings amounted to just shy of $6 million.
