WCOOP-21 – $215 NL Hold’em

A total of 62 returned from the original starting field of 8,484 players for day two of the latest hold’em no-limit event, competing for a share of the $1,696,800 prize pool and a first prize of $254,524.92. Winner, when play concluded on Monday afternoon, was gregor7878, who became only the second ever Polish WCOOP winner, after N4kai’s success yesterday. gregor7878 won the bracelet and $158,627.33; their share of a five-way chop with prot0, from New Zealand, in second place, collecting $145,615.35; Gnostan, from Russia, in third place who earned $169,324.97; fourth placed borvik, also from Russia, taking away $116,376.68; and fifth placed BlockWinner, the third Russian in the top five, who had started the day as chip leader, who collected $147,099.60.

 

WCOOP-22 – $530 NL Hold’em

From a starting field of 3,739 players a total of 131 returned for Day 2 of the $530 no-limit hold’em event, led overnight by TheUrsaraie, from Romania, who would go on to reach the final table, finishing in eighth.  A total prize pool of $1,869,500, created a first prize of $293,512.31 which went to Flying Smile, from Russia. The Russian defeated pvas2, from the United Kingdom, heads-up to the title and the bracelet. The runner-up spot paid $218,731.50.

 

WCOOP-23 - $215 NL Hold’em [4-Max]

A field of 2,622 entered the 4-Max contest, which featured a prize pool of $524,400, topping the half million guarantee. After almost 18 hours of play the field had been worked down to just seven players, led overnight by Da3dalus, from Germany. PokerStars Team Online’s Randy ‘nanonoko’ Lew narrowly missed out on the second day, finishing in tenth place, earning $6,423.90. Play continues at 11.00 ET today, with a $77,349 first place prize up for grabs.

 

WCOOP-24 - $320 Stud

The $50,000 guaranteed prize pool was shattered in the latest Stud event, with 337 players combining for a $101,100 prize pool which awarded a first prize of $19,461.91. That, and the bracelet, went to Big_Nemo, from Canada, who moved into second place on the tournament leader board having beaten Bilybob88, from the United Kingdom, heads-up. Bilybob88 collected $14,406.75 for second place, while Team PokerStars Online’s  latest addition Mickey ‘mement_mori’ Petersen, from Denmark finished third, earning $10,868.25.

 

WCOOP-25 - $215 PL Omaha [Turbo, 1R 1A]

There was another guarantee-topping field for the pot-limit Omaha turbo event, with 1,086 players amassing a prize pool of 417,600 between them, some way beyond the $225,000 guarantee. Up for grabs was a first prize of $72,996.48 which was won by MiPwnYa, from Brazil. L0ve2playU, from the Netherlands, finished second and collected $53,035.20.
