Who fed Casper?

What was the suspect food?

How did he get poisoned?

These were the questions being asked over the past few days as Doyle Brunson’s famous toy poodle remained in the hospital suffering from food poisoning.

Blamed for nearly 50 bites over his long lifetime, the Godfather of Poker’s famous 14-year old dog (98 in dog years and older than his 77-year-old master) is said to be doing a lot better today though “he’s not out of the woods yet”.

Brunson’s tweet about Casper drove some 600 plus people to the Gambling911.com website in a matter of three hours.  Not surprising, Brunson has some 371,429 followers and is among the most popular poker players on Twitter, if not the most popular.

Brunson offered an update.

Casper update...has to stay in the hospital 5 days but full recovery is possible. Not out of the woods yet though. His stomach is messed up.

Casper has gained notoriety on the Gambling911.com website in recent years with stories related to his many “biting” incidents.

“In theory there are close to 50 suspects in connection with Casper’s poisoning,” says Gambling911.com’s Jenny Woo.  “In reality, everyone is pointing the finger at Todd, Doyle’s son, at least that is what we are hearing.  He just fed him some weeks old food.”
