Urindaner Has a Rough Weekend at Poker Tables

This past weekend saw the usual insane action at the nosebleed tables over on Full Tilt Poker. As all railbirds know, Full Tilt Poker is the place to go to see all kinds of crazy action. Nowhere else on the internet can someone sit down and watch hundreds of thousands of dollars change hands on the turn of a card. Real life players have Bobby's Room at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, but that is a room where only the elite are granted entry and there are no observers welcome. On Full Tilt however, the spectators feel like they are part of the action.

This weekend, Di "Urindanger" Dang was taken to the proverbial woodshed while playing what amounted to a 24-hour session playing $300/$600 Pot Limit Omaha. His adversary was a relative newcomer to the high stakes tables, the 2008 Aussie Millions winner Alexander "PostflopAction" Kostritsyn. The two played each other heads up at two different times for a total of over 3000 hands and when all was said and done, Dang was a loser in each, for a total loss of over $600,000. Dang tried to make up the deficit at other tables as well, to no avail however, as his combined weekend losses were upwards of $1 million dollars.

In other actions, the embattled Brian Townsend remained embattled as he suffered through another losing day, this time dropping over $377K. Turning things around a bit was Patrik Antonius who recouped over a quarter million dollars but remains in the red for the 2010 season.
