Taj Mahal, Ultimate Poker Rake in Just $26K for Month of July

Harsh reality is setting in for some online gambling firms currently operating out of New Jersey.

Sites overall accounted for $10.07 million during July with  $7.92 million going towards casino games such as blackjack and slots and the rest towards online poker.

While the Borgata and its partner site PartyPoker took in approximately $1.11 million during the month of July, the Taj Mahal and its partner Ultimate Poker accounted for an unimpressive $26,000 of that $10.07 million.

Ultimate Poker was the first Internet card room to gain a serious foothold in the legal US market via Nevada but has stumbled in the Garden State.

Overall revenues for all companies were up around 7% compared to June numbers.

New Jersey has mostly shunned online affiliates who are considered the driving force behind successful European and offshore betting sites.
