The Simpsons Online Poker Episode Airs Sunday with Jennifer Tilly

A much anticipated episode of The Simpsons will air this Sunday (November 11, 2012) whereby little Lisa learns how to play online poker and is taught by none other than “Bride of Chucky” star Jennifer Tilly.

Ms. Tilly herself is one of the most accomplished poker players on the circuit today.

Gambling911.com first got wind of this episode’s production last March after it was leaked to media outlets.

The episode will involve Lisa discovering that her dad, Homer Simpson, has stashed her college money away in an online poker site (hopefully it wasn’t Full Tilt Poker).  Lisa must then learn how to play the game.

Tilly, who currently provides the voice for Bonnie Swanson on the animated series “The Family Guy”, will play herself.

The star was previously married to “The Simpsons” co-creator and developer Sam Simon, himself an avid poker player.  He was one of the last remaining celebrities still playing in the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event.

“The Simpsons” is now in its 24th season next year.  The show’s ratings continue to make the top 25 weekly and is Fox’s second highest rated show currently after “The X Factor”.
