Regnhard Hermansen Leading at 2015 King’s Cup Main Event After Day 1a

Regnhard Hermansen is leading the PokerStars.net King's Cup Main Event after Day 1a. The Dane bagged 162,000 chips to top 83-entry field (created by 78 unique players plus 5 re-entries).

Hermansen is closely followed by Russia's Boris Tapelzon, whose stack emerged to 155,000. Fourteen levels of play saw 26 players survive for Day 2 including Estrellas 3 Barcelona third and tenth place finishers Ali Sameeian (71,600) and Josef Antos (77,000) plus the last Czech standing in this year's World Series of Poker Main Event Jaroslav Peter (313rd for $29,329), who will continue with 80,700.

Team PokerStars Pro Martin Hruby also attended today's flight. However, the Czech EPT7 Vienna runner-up was eliminated at the end of the penultimate level.

Tomorrow, the King's Casino will host another two starting days with a huge action anticipated as Day 1b kicks-off at 2pm, while Day 1c will follow later, starting at 8pm.
