Record Breaking EPT Barcelona €10k High Roller to Reward €1,764,000

This season’s record-breaking field for the EPT Barcelona €10k High Roller - a total of 180 entries – has also created a record-breaking prize pool of €1,764,000.

This is nearly €400k more than EPT Berlin last season and will be divvied up between 27 players, The winner will receive €390,700 as well as a luxury watch from SLYDE, the Official Watch Sponsor for EPT Season 10 Main Events and High Roller Events.

There were 138 players, with 42 re-entries. Several players actually bought in for the first time today, before Day 2 kicked off, including EPT8 Barcelona champion Kent Lundmark, Johan van Til and Jani Sointula.

 

PATRIK HIRVONEN WINS €300 NL TURBO BOUNTY

Finnish player Patrik Hirvonen has won yesterday’s EPT 10 Barcelona €300 NL Turbo event for €10,117. There were 206 entries generating a €59,328 prize pool. 31 players were paid. Others who made the money include Alexander Orlov from Russia , who won the the €500 PLO Turbo event on Tuesday, EPT9 Omaha Player of the Year Ankush Mandavia and EPT Barcelona finalist Isabel Baltazar.

 

ONDREJ VINKLAREK WINS €1K NL TURBO BOUNTY

EPT8 Player of the Year Ondrej Vinklarek from the Czech Republic has won yesterday’s EPT 10 Barcelona €1k NL Turbo event for €41,200. There were 207 entries generating a €194,580 prize pool. 31 players were paid. Others who made the money include runner-up Joao Vieira, EPT Deauville finalist Walid Bou Habib, EPT Copenhagen winner Anton Wigg, Johan van Til and Elmar Dirnberger.

 

MIDDLETON WINS SKRILL LAST LONGER

Tom Middleton has won the Skrill Last Longer contest. The British online pro, known as “hitthehole”, outlasted 203 players who signed up for the competition - some 16% of the 1,234-strong field. Middleton, who hails from Leeds, will get his €5,300 buy-in credited back in to his Skrill account.
