PokerStars to Launch Zoom Tournaments During Micromillions 4 Festival

Fourth installment of low stakes series guarantees $5 million across 100 event

ONCHAN, ISLE OF MAN – PokerStars today announced the schedule for the fourth MicroMillions festival, which will incorporate 100 events from March 14-24 and guarantee a total prize pool of $5 million. The series will also include the launch of the highly anticipated Zoom Poker tournaments on PokerStars, with two events scheduled for March 14 and March 17, guaranteeing $75,000 and $50,000 respectively.

Zoom Poker, which debuted almost a year ago, is the fast-folding game that has taken the cash tables by storm. Now Zoom will be available for tournaments, with the same innovative option to ‘Fast Fold’ and instantly be moved to a new table with the shared pool of tournament players. Only in the latter stages – the final three tables – will the remaining participants play out the tourney in a standard fashion.

Team Online member Andre ‘acoimbra’ Coimbra, who played all 100 MicroMillions events in the debut festival last year, commented: “As part of my $100 to $100,000 bankroll challenge this year, I’ll be playing a lot of MicroMillions tourneys over the next couple of weeks. It’s such a fun series and it’s one where players of all abilities and bankroll levels can take part to win huge prizes.”
