Poker Pro Mike Matusow Goes on Twitter Rant Over $1.7m Weight Loss Bet Debt

Outspoken poker pro Mike “The Mouth” Matusow went off on fellow pro Ted Forrest who accused “The Mouth” of being “The Stiff”.

Six-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Forrest began a Twitter face-off, claiming that Matusow had not made good on a weight loss bet placed four years ago.

Forrest tweeted:

.@CardPlayerMedia Correcting the numbers: @themouthmatusow has payed me $70.500 of the 1.8million he owes me for the weight loss bet #4years

From PokerStrategy.com:

The two had originally agreed the wager over dinner at the Commerce Casino. Forrest said he'd "felt fat" after the big meal and wasn't happy weighing as much as 188 pounds, so to provide some additional motivation for his endeavour, he decided to bet Matusow $100,000 at 18/1 that he could lose 48 pounds in just 3 months.

As we all know, Forrest miraculously managed to shed the weight with a rigorous diet and training schedule, which left "The Mouth" reeling in a seven-figure hole.

As would be expected, Matusow fired back at Forrest via Twitter.

He tweeted:

So stop lying to people about me in public or I will out you for the thief and crook you are ,take care my friend . Mike

Matusow insists that Forrest agreed to being paid $5,000 a month out of his "Full Tilt check", and we all know how that went down.  The original Full Tilt Poker shut down and shut off Matusow as a result.

“The Mouth” also claims that Forrest was supposed to have taken a drug test to show he didn’t lose the weight in an “unnatural” way.
