A long established online poker website, known for its innovative 3D graphics, shut down last week, leaving customers to fend for themselves.

The company now says it is actively seeking a buyer.  Should the administrators placed in charge of overseeing PKR’s dissolution be unsuccessful in securing a potential suitor, they will then attempt to sell off the company’s lucrative database and other assets.

PKR Poker, established in 2005, claimed to be licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and in the UK by the UK Gambling Commission. Their license number was 000-039279-R-319296-006.

A notice appeared on the PRK Poker website last week immediately upon shutting off play.

“Further to earlier announcements, PKR limited and PKR Technologies Ltd have filed applications to Court for Administration orders, which will be heard in the week commencing 8th May 2017.”
