This is a critical hearing that will take place in the Senate.  The Indian Tribes are among the most powerful lobbying groups in DC and they absolutely require appeasement if legalized Internet poker is going to happen in the US.

Already in California, we have seen the Tribes accept the inevitable and soften their stand to work more closely with parties seeking regulation.
