NFL Player Miles Austin, Phil Hellmuth Going Deep at 2014 WPT World Championship

Day 2 has come to a close at the WPT World Championship, sponsored by partypoker, and 68 players have survived from the 200 that started the day.

The chip leader at the end of play tonight is Eric Afriat (pictured above) with 1,003,000 and he is head and shoulders above the rest of the field. Other top stacks were baged up by Anthony Gregg (567,000), Athanasios Polychronopoulos (542,500), Scott Seiver (539,500), and Ryan D'Angelo (519,500), Poker Hall of Fame member Phil Hellmuth has advanced with 54,000 and NFL wide receiver Miles Austin made it through with 74,500.

Day 3 commenced Noon EST at the Borgata with the bursting of the money bubble occurring when 36 players will remain.
