Nets Super Fan, Poker Pro Tossed Out of Arena After Alleged ‘Prosthetic Leg’ Att

One time poker pro and Nets “super fan” Jeffrey Vanchiro (AKA Jeffrey Gamblero) was carried out of Madison Square Garden Tuesday night by arena security for apparent "unruly behavior".  Vanchiro’s prosthetic leg, however, appeared to have been left behind.

"An unruly fan was ejected after MSG security received multiple complaints from fans sitting in that area," the team said via a team spokesperson. "The fan was warned multiple times before being removed. He will not be permitted back into Madison Square Garden."

Initial reports suggested that Vanchiro had removed his prosthetic leg and began clobbering people with it.  Some of those around Vanchiro tweeted this not to have been the case.

Andrew Chen, an NBA reporter for the New York Times, tweeted:

FWIW, various eyewitness fans told me Jeffrey Gamblero's prosthetic left leg was merely held up in protest, not wielded with aggression.
