Martin Meciar Wins Eureka 4 Rozvadov for €87,600

PokerStars Qualifier Martin Meciar became Slovakia's first ever Eureka champion after beating a 493-player field in Rozvadov to scoop €87,600. The original first prize was six thousands more but Meciar made a heads up deal with Michael-David Passy and then it took him only couple of hands to eliminate his last opponent and seize even €10,000 left for the winner.

It is Meciar's best result in his poker carreer, he perfectely used the advantage of starting the final table as a chip leader. Michael-David Passy earned €65,000 for a 2nd place finish while the last woman in the tournament ended 3rd for €42,300.

We saw EPT7 Vienna champion Michael Eiler falling in 7th place being knocked out by Sascha Ranzinger who started the final table well as he bust out Dawid Mysiewicz in 8th place as well. Ranzinger and Meciar were the only players who scored KO's at the final table (Meciar 4 and Ranzinger 3).
