*Large Number of Lock Poker Payouts Received Friday – Gambling911.com can report that a large number of cash transfer payouts were received by customers of Lock Poker on Friday.

Lock was hit hard by processing issues during Q1 with a few requests dating back to February still getting caught up in the queue.  A vast majority of those payouts received Friday were dating back to that period while others arrived within an 8-week time span.

Lock, one of the highest volume online poker rooms, expects to have payouts reduced to a 6-8 week period during the first period of Q3 as they continue to bring on new processors.  Lock and other US-facing rooms continue to face the challenges associated with working in a transition market that until now has been unfriendly to Web poker.  Banks are yet to come around in embracing the activity.

Some members of the popular CardChat.com forum report receipt of payments within a 4-week time frame this month.

G911 does not advise check withdrawals at Lock Poker at this time.  Cash Transfer method is best alternative.

*PayNoRake, Chico Poker to Resume Payouts Monday – As first confirmed by Gambling911.com Friday after reports began surfacing on various posting forums, the Chico Poker Network will resume payouts Monday following a nine-month “investor” dispute.

Even better, BetOnline, which operates on the affiliated and financially solvent Hero Poker Network, is set to begin pushing its own online poker room over the coming months.  This will result in plenty of sports bettors coming to the tables.  BOL is one of the top 3 largest North American facing online sportsbooks in terms of customer volume.  They are also buying up a number of other Web properties.  Up until now, BetOnline has held off promoting their online poker room until this dispute resolved itself.

*Calls for Venetian Poker Room Boycott Gaining Steam – Players are now revolting Adelson’s public attack on legalizing Web poker in the US.  Adelson has all but fallen short of calling legalized online gambling in America the end of society…though he’s come close.

Popular poker figure and blogger Nolan Dalla has called for an all out boycott of Adelson’s Venetian Hotel and Casino poker room for an entire week.

I hereby call for a five-day boycott of The Venetian poker room.  Starting at 12:01 am on Monday, July 22nd, I ask that everyone who supports online poker’s legalization in the United States stay out of The Venetian.  The boycott will end when the clock strikes midnight on Friday-Saturday, July 26th.  That means, no poker action during Monday through Friday for that entire week.

One more time:  Monday, July 22nd through Friday, July 26th.  NO POKER AT THE VENETIAN.

Not sure of the reach of Dalla’s blog but sites like Gambling911.com and many mainstream media outlets are starting to take notice so this could get interesting.
