Latin Poker Series Launches New Website With Player of Year Reward

San Jose, Costa Rica - The Latin Poker Series today announced the launch of its brand new website, along with more reasons to play in LPS events in 2014. Coupled with a revamped online portal, the Latin American tournament circuit organization has unveiled two new LPS leaderboards to keep track of player performance, including one that awards an LPS Tour Pass to the top point earner.

"We're seeing a lot of repeat players who have really embraced the LPS format," stated Diego Chan of LPS. "We're excited to bring new players, frequent players, and members of the media a totally revamped website that showcases everything LPS has to offer. We're also thrilled to reward our regular players with an exciting new points competition."

The new LatinPokerSeries.com features information on all LPS events, including the Punta Cana Poker Classic, LPS Millions, and LPS Chile events. Site visitors can find useful tournament information including schedules, package details, and playing policies and procedures. The website will also help those seeking to obtain media credentials understand the terms and conditions involved in covering an event.

As players participate in LPS Millions, LPS Chile, LPS Millions II, and Punta Cana Poker Classic events, they'll earn points towards the LPS Rankings Leaderboard. At the end of the year, the top point earner will be crowned The LPS Player of the Year and win the ultimate LPS Tour Pass, which grants access to every LPS Main Event in 2015 including hotel accommodations and travel expenses.

LPS is also tracking in every event the players who cash the most. The top player will earn the Most Cashes award and will get recognized in every event.

The Latin Poker Series was created to celebrate poker in Latin America. But due to its popular choices for host cities, the LPS garners international attention. The Punta Cana Poker Classic, for example, is one of the most popular Caribbean poker tournaments, attracting players from dozens of countries around the world. Other popular international tournaments on the LPS circuit include LPS Millions and LPS Chile.

More info on all upcoming LPS events and the leaderboard competitions can be found available at LatinPokerSeries.com.
