The excitement was heating up at the 2010 World Series of Poker with noted pro Johnny Chan looking to tie Phil Hellmuth's record number of WSOP bracelets:  11

In 2005, Chan became the first player to win ten World Series of Poker titles, defeating Phil Laak in a Texas hold 'em event. He is currently tied with Doyle Brunson for second place with 10 World Series of Poker bracelets, behind Phil Hellmuth. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2002.

At press time Monday evening, Chan was the 6th biggest chip leader in the 2010 WSOP main event.

Chan built up 560,000 chips during the first half of his third session and was only down slightly by Monday evening.
