Jesper Feddersen Leads EPT9 Deauville at End of Day 1A

German PokerStars qualifier Jesper Feddersen is leading the EPT Deauville Main Event at the end of Day 1a with 188,900 chips. Day 1a of the €5,300 tourney attracted 307 players - with 165 of them going through to Day 2 on Wednesday..

This was the first time that EPTLive has broadcast right from the start of an event, with nine hours of live TV coverage. You can watch tomorrow from 2.45pm on www.pokerstars.tv. The webcast is cards down with no delay, English commentary by James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton.

Also for the first time, the EPT has joined forces with the national France Poker Series this season to create a mega ten-day, 48-event festival in Deauville, making it one of the biggest events ever held in France.

In addition to the title and cash prize, the winner of EPT Deauville will receive a stunning watch worth more than €5,000 from luxury Swiss brand Slyde, the Official Watch Sponsor for EPT9 Main Events.

FPS DEAUVILLE MAIN EVENT
French-Canadian student Patrick Braga, 26, has won the FPS Main Event for €165,000 after beating Irish player Andrew King heads-up . The €1,100 event started last Wednesday with a record-breaking 828 players. PokerStars.fr Dream Job "TV Star" Ronan Monfort came third, EPT Vienna finalist Konstantinos Nanos finished fourth and long-term EPT journalist Bruno Santos was sixth.
