The Irish Winter Festival of Poker is taking place between the 25th & 27th of October 2008 in Dublin. The tournament that constitutes the prize is the €1,500 + €150 Irish Masters Main Event with an estimated Prizepool of €1,000,000. Win a €3,000 prize package including €1,350 travel and accommodation money.

First organised in 2001, the festival is headlined by the Irish Masters main event, a Texas hold'em tournament, and typically takes place over the three days of the October bank holiday weekend.

From 2004 through 2007, the Irish Masters tournament served as the Dublin leg of the European Poker Tour.
