Irish Open 2012 Final Table Determined

The Irish Open 2012 Final Table has been announced with Ian Simpson leading the pack in terms of chip count.  David “Dixie” Dean came in a close second.  Both players are relative unknowns with Dean’s last big live circuit win occurring at the Inaugural Poker Championship – The Sportsman Showdown – in 2006.

Finalists include Northern Ireland’s own Andy Black, who has over $4 million in winnings to date on the live circuit including a 2nd place finish at the 2007 Crown Aussie Millions Championship Pot Limit Omaha event.

Montreal’s Samuel Chartier is another player among the Final Table who has enjoyed success in recent years with more than $1 million in live circuit winnings including two first place finishes, one of which was a $322,944 take at the Caesars Atlantic City WSOP Circuit Event No Limit Hold’em Championship.

Kevin Vandersmissen has around a half a million in live winnings to date, which include a 2nd place finish for $372,974 at the PokerStars.com EPT Snowfest Season 7 No Limit Hold’em Championship.
