High Five Poker Tournament Returns to Americas Cardroom

It hasn't even been three months since the last tournament series captivated poker players across the US and around the world, but Americas Cardroom is giving players another reason to celebrate. The online poker site today announced that its popular 5-day series featuring five big events a day will return to the site on June 11th.

"Our last High Five series was one of the most lucrative series for low-to-mid stakes poker players at Americas Cardroom," stated Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom. "We smashed the guaranteed prize pool by record numbers and we can't wait to see what unfolds with the sophomore series."

The High Five Guaranteed will feature five events per day for five days straight. Tournament buy-ins start at just $1+0.10 and guarantees run as high as $150,000. Players can look forward to Texas Hold'em, PLO, and a variety of other tournaments. Tournaments begin at 3:00pm EST and run every few hours.

The first High Five Series ran in November 2013 with $350,000 guaranteed. The series attracted a large number of players, resulting in a final prize pool of over $430,000. With $420,000 guaranteed in the 2014 series, online poker players can expect a final prize pool of well over half-a-million dollars, assuming the trend continues.

The High Five Guaranteed will no doubt attract scores of poker players who loved the idea of OSS III but prefer smaller buy-ins. OSS III was Americas Cardroom's Online Super Series which ran in late March and offered $900,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
