Germans to Dominate This Year’s $1 Million Buy-In One Drop

Fabian Quoss, Max Altergott, Tobias Reinkemeier, Christoph Vogelsang and Niklas Heinecker, all German and all poker players who have paid the $1 million buy-in to participate in this year's Big One for One Drop at the World Series of Poker.

The odds of a German winning what will likely be the biggest cash in poker tournament history are pretty good.

F5Poker reported on a few of the other big names already signed up.

Poker pro Jean-Robert Bellande has been crying about how broke he is yet managed to pay to play in this event by dropping $1 million on cold hard cash.

A lot of folks will be rooting for the first female to win an event of this caliber and, if anyone can do it, Vanessa Selbst sure can.  Few would deny she’s probably the best woman poker player on the scene today and she’s already ponied up her million.

An anonymous Asian businessman will also be playing.  We have no clue who.

32 seats of the allotted 56 player cap are filled and still no Daniel Negreanu or Phil Hellmuth on the list, f5Poker noted.  The event takes place June 29-July 1 with ESPN covering the event from top to bottom.
