Eureka Poker Tour 2015 Kicks Off in Rozvadov, Czech Republic

The Eureka Poker Tour makes a return to Rozvadov, Czech Republic in February 2015, kicking off the fifth season of Central and Eastern Europe’s premier live poker tour.
One of the biggest poker venues in Europe, the popular King’s Casino, will once again play host to the Eureka season opener from February 21 – March 1. It marks the tour’s third visit to the Czech poker hotbed, building on the season 4 stop when Slovakian online qualifier Martin Meciar beat out a 493-strong field to capture the €1,100 Main Event for an €87,600 payday.

€500,000 GUARANTEED MAIN EVENT
Amongst a 22-event schedule set to accommodate all bankrolls the €1,100 Main Event is back and again boasts a €500,000 guarantee. In a unique twist, three Main Event Day 1 flights are scheduled to run on non-consecutive days, designed to enable more local players to participate.
Day 1A gets the action underway on February 21 at 14:00, with Day 1B following on February 26 at 14:00. Any players eliminated on either Days 1A or 1B are afforded a second chance by re-entering on Day 1C, taking place on February 26 at 22:00. Day 1C will run in a turbo format and entry is restricted to those that bust on Day 1A or 1B.
While the buy-in remains unchanged at €1,100, the Main Event starting stack will see an increase from 20,000 to 25,000, allowing for more quality deep stack poker for Eureka players.

Other festival highlights include the €100,000 guaranteed ‘Eureka 100 Grand Challenge’, the €330 ‘Rozvadov Cup’, a €110 ‘Eureka Local Championship’ with a €20,000 guarantee, a €550 PLO event and a women only tournament, the €60 ‘Eureka Queen’s Cup’.
To give the local crowd a shot at Eureka glory for free, PokerStars is also running a special promotion in February exclusive to play money players from Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and the Germanic region, awarding Main Event and Rozvadov Cup seats across a handful of online freerolls.
Meanwhile many of the region’s best poker players are expected to make an appearance in Rozvadov, including Team PokerStars Pro Matthias de Meulder, Friend of PokerStars Natalie Hof and Eureka Season 4 Player of the Year runner-up, Zoltán Gál.

EUREKA LIVE WEBCAST
Armchair fans can follow the action via the Eureka webcast on February 27 and 28, starting at 14:00 CET and available via PokerStars.tv and the official King’s Casino poker news site.
The final day will be streamed ‘as live’ with hole cards revealed and a one hour security delay, from 15:00 CET on March 1. Commentary will be available in both German and Czech, with expert commentary from Martin Pott, Jens Knosalla and LudekStanek.
