Estrellas Valencia Champ Fabio Sperling is Chip Leader at EPT Prague Main Event

Estrellas Valencia champion Fabio Sperling is chip leader going in to Day 5 of the EPT Prague Main Event. Sperling, from Siegberg in Germany and now living in the south coast resort of Ramsgate in the UK, snagged the trophy and €77,000 first prize in the Estrellas Valencia Main Event in April, shortly after a runner-up finish in the Sunday Million 8th Anniversary bonanza.

The 24-year old German collected 4,357,000 chips entering the penultimate day as a leader among last 22 survivors.
Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst also made it through Day 4 with 2,040,000 chips, already securing her best result in an EPT Main Event. She has thrived in EPT high rollers, super high rollers and other side events, including winning the PCA High Roller last year, but her highest result in a main event before now was 40th at EPT8 Sanremo.
Two former EPT champions remain in contention - Davidi Kitai (2,307,000) and Remi Castaignon (1,385,000).

British pro Tamer Kamel, a finalist in both the EPT London Main Event and High Roller in Season 9, also returns tomorrow along with Hungary's Balazs Botond who won the Eureka 4 Prague main event just a few days ago. Other big names entering day 5 are Stephen Graner, Sam Grafton and Miltias Kyriakides (EPT9 Omaha Player of the Year).

Team PokerStars Pro George Danzer fell in 53rd place while last season's runner-up Georgios Sotiropoulos saw elimination in 50th position. Brian Altman was today's last casualty, he bust in 23rd place in the very last hand of the day. All 22 survivors are guaranteed to take home at least €32,270.

EPT11 Prague top five chip counts:
1st - Fabio Sperling, Germany, PokerStars qualifier, 4,357,000
2nd - Stephen Graner, USA, PokerStars player, 3,228,000
3rd - Sam Grafton, UK, 2,610,000
4th - Davidi Kitai, Belgium, 2,307,000
5th - Vanessa Selbst, USA, Team PokerStars Pro, 2,040,000

RECORD-BREAKING HIGH ROLLER WITH 225 UNIQUE PLAYERS SO FAR
At least 225 unique players entered the €10k High Roller with single re-entry. 31 players already fired the second bullet bringing the number of entries up to 256. It is by far the biggest EPT €10k High Roller ever held in Prague, already attracting 80 more entries than last season's 176-entry field. Ivan Soshnikov from Russia won it last year after beating Olivier Busquet heads-up to scoop a €382,050 first prize and now tries to defend the title.
Team PokerStars Pros Betrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Eugene Katchalov and their online team-mate Ike Haxton competed alongside the World Champion Martin Jacobson, his heads-up opponent Felix Stephensen and the WCOOP Main Event winner Fedor Holz.
