He just can't get the female body off his mind, and who can blame him.  Doyle Brunson, one of the hottest poker players on the circuit today (not to mention the oldest), has women swarming all over him as he ponders the question on his Twitter page: "ok wise guys.....why is 'bra' singular and 'panties' plural? I'm going out the door..hello Miller Lite!!"

Gambling911.com has the answer to that question.

The word "bra" is actually shortened from the word "brassiere" and since the French do not use plurals, the "s" is left off of the word "bra".

"Panties" derives from the word "pants" and was also French at one time a la "Pantaloons", which was a general class of garments presumably worn by Saint Pantaleon, the Patron Saint of Venice.

But what is Doyle doing asking questions about bras and panties when it was only last week that the poker icon had considered flying to Spain to sunbathe with a nude Lacey Jones?
