Doyle Brunson Busts Out of 2013 Poker Players Championship

It was a good run while it lasted by the Texas Dolly, Doyle Brunson, busted out of this year’s WSOP Poker Players Championship in 53rd place.

Both David Benyamine and 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event winner Jonathan Duhamel, continued to sit among the top 5 chip leaders heading into the overnight hours Tuesday.

The $50,000 buy-in event features a $6,336,000 prize pool with first place getting $1,774,089.  And if you happen to be the runner-up, the cash reward is not too shabby at $1,096,254.

Doyle’s tweets of the day included: “Sorry Chip”, “New life!  Ran 8k to 165k” and “Haven’t won a pot.  I don’t need a doctor, I need an undertaker”.
