Carbon Poker’s Online Poker Bad Beat Jackpot Hits for $165,429

Carbon Poker’s massive online poker Bad Beat Jackpot was hit once again yesterday, as another table of “unlucky” players walked away with a nice chunk of change.

The online poker Bad Beat Jackpot of $165, 429 was hit on a $0.50/$1 NL Hold’em table as a player going by the name of “makesZEROcents” ironically walked away as the biggest winner after losing with his monster hand. He had thought that he was home free after rivering his fourth ten for quads, but little did he know that he was drawing dead at that point.

“BeeSidOzzy” had hit the turn card of all turn cards as the 6 of spades fell after a flop of 7 of spades, Ten of Diamonds, Ten of Spades. “Ozzy” was holding the infamous “Rounders” hand of the 8, 9 of spades to hit his straight flush. He had to just be hoping that “ZEROcents” had a ten and would dump his stack to him. That was exactly how it played out and while “ZEROcents” thought that it was a great river card, he turned out to be wrong at the moment.

BUT, that final Ten on the river turned out to be the best card out there as it allowed the table to cash in on the Bad Beat Jackpot of $165K with almost $58,000 going to “makesZEROcents” in the process. The rest of the table that weren’t involved in the hand walked away with $4100 and change, while “BeeSidOzzy” took home just under $29,000 for the winning hand.

In the end, it turns out that “makesZEROcents” really just prefers to make the big bucks, thanks to Carbon Poker’s Bad Beat Jackpot.
