2012 WSOP Event 1 Casino Employees World Championship First Bracelet Winner

Chiab Saechao has become the 2012 World Series of Poker’s first bracelet winner, taking the honor for the Casino Employees World Championship.

Event #1 is pretty self-explanatory.  It’s for casino employees only, but is not inclusive to just those working in Vegas. Saechao is, in fact, a California blackjack dealer.

732 employees took part in this year’s WSOP first tournament.  $70,859 was won by Saechao while Florida native Patricia Baker came in second place with $43,754.  For Baker, that’s a sweet bonus for 2012.  She literally just landed in Vegas back in January to start dealing at the Rio, home to this year’s World Series of Poker.

James Routos 3rd place win should generate some free press for his Washington State gambling house.  He’s actually the owner of the Roman Casino, a non-tribal mini-casino in South Seattle.

"It is great to honor these fine casino employees," said Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website.  "The Gambling911.com has a strong readership among the casino service employee sector."
