Online Gambling World Celebrates Four Years of Woo

It is hard to believe how fast time has gone by.  Online gambling's most prolific - okay, scratch that - most popular - beat reporter, Jenny Woo, has been poised at the front lines ready to unleash her trusty pen for an incredible four years now.

Jenny Woo first emerged as a reporter for the now defunct Casino Times News magazine.  She had gained so much acclaim that Gambling911.com founder, Christopher Costigan, eventually lured her to write for his website.

"I've never seen anyone in journalism who could put together a cogent analysis on almost any subject as fast as Jenny can," comments Costigan.  "Her articles are frequently among the most read on the Gambling911.com website."

Almost overnight, Ms. Woo made minced meat of other online gambling reporters the likes of Mark Balestra (Interactive Gaming News), Buzz Daly (BuzzDaly.com) and Stephen Nover (Covers.com), all solid industry  reporters but Woo helped turn the landscape upside down forever by thrusting her way into the once male dominated arena.

"Jenny helped pave the way for female industry writers like myself," Rebecca Rebecca Liggero of Casino City Times said.  "A brilliant reporter, dedicated to facts, and a relentless pursuer of the truth.  Jenny Woo is an icon in the world of internet gambling and someone I proudly look up to."

Indeed, Jenny Woo has paved the way for many aspiring writers, making the online gambling industry among the most female-friendly as it pertains to journalism.

Others who cite Woo as an influence include Gambling911.com own stable of women reporters: Destiney Lewis, Carrie Stroup, Payton O'Brien, Kira Wissman, Anna Lexington and Sparky Collins (who is technically a male)among them.

"A wonderful writer of dazzling versatility. One of the best writers to ever grace the world wide web," said Carrie Stroup, who herself has become a household name in the world of online gambling journalism while representing Gambling911.com endorsed Sportsbook.com (see website here)

Jenny Woo's scope of journalism has expanded far beyond that of the online gambling industry and she has often utilized unorthodox means of getting to the bottom of a story.  Woo once reported on a hot scoop surrounding Vin Diesel after going on a date with the Hollywood heartthrob.  Jenny has dated professional athletes, providing valuable insight into the sports scene.

The multi-talented writer/reporter also enjoys laying out in the sun nude, walking her dog Lexy, reading and drinking Cosmos.  Jenny Woo also moonlights as a real estate broker in the South Florida region.  She's also an accomplished dancer.

Jenny Woo will be covering CAP EURO later this month.
