Following our much talked about report on how Rome Casino, an online casino venture, had failed to pay one of its affiliate partners for nearly two months, Gambling911.com is happy to report Rome has finally paid the gentleman in question.
The affiliate in question had been owed around $2000.
Rome Casino's owner responded immediately following our report:
"This affiliate never even asked the program director or his affiliate manager for his payment and we still to this date do not have his payment details. This affiliate was asking someone for the payment and this person is no longer involved with the operational side of RomeCasino. We have no issues taking care of a 1300 dollar payment provided we know about it.
"You guys have been in the business a long time and we along with the rest of the operator community would kindly ask if you would simply communicate with us and the affiliate in question before drawing Please consider that if we never paid affiliates, this would likely not be the first place they would hear about it. It would be all over CAP and GPWA and if not there, somewhere else. Please give us the benefit of the doubt and contact first so you can at least get both sides of the story. We will send the payment as soon as the affiliate in question provides us with his payment details. He can email them to josh at romepartners.com or Gabriel at romepartners.com and we'll send it out today. Please talk to us next time."
Gambling911.com was quick to point out that, while the owner claimed not to know much about this individual, he certainly had all the details pretty down pat.
While the affiliate partner claims he did not receive the full amount owed, he's glad to get most of it so that now he can pay his hospital bills after suffering from a collapsed lung.
