"This evil German who has something against the Jews pulled out a knife and actually cut Gabriel's throat," Rebecca Liggero of CasinoCity.com relayed to Gambling911.com from her executive suite in Boston.
But Gabriel from Rushmore, having trained in the Israeli army, managed to ward off his attacker.
"He fought him off with his bare hands, and the police took it from there," said Liggero.
Gabriel had been trying to lure German girls into the party.
Barcelona has become synonymous with purse snatchings and pick pocketing. Nine out of ten folks we spoke to while visiting Dublin, Ireland last week, claim to have had their wallets stolen while in Barcelona. Violent crimes are not necessarily the norm there, however.
Rebecca admitted after the violent assault that she wanted to marry Gabriel.
