SPORTSBOOK GAMBLING SOFTWARE RESPONDS TO RUMORS OF THEIR "POTENTIAL"
DEMISE

As
a website that prides itself on balanced an unbiased reporting, 911 has asked
IQL Software out of Costa Rica to respond to the latest rumors related to what
some consider to be their "inevitable" demise. IQL insists they
are not going anywhere.
The
sportsbook gambling software provider once ranked as the leader with more than
50% of all offshore betting companies using their product prior to 2000.
Since then, a handful of other turnkey solutions have emerged onto the scene,
among them Inet Gambling Software and ASI Extensions Software.
"We
figure the rumors are originating from one or two people who work for a specific
new competitor," commented an IQL spokesperson who wishes not to be
identified. "They (the competing company) are struggling and will do
anything to make us look bad."
This
representative admits things are far from perfect at the IQL front, but insists
his company is still a leader in the sportsbook software industry.
"I
think all our products are first class and we had an exceptional football season
in 2002."
As
far as the rumors go, IQL has held off commenting up to this point.
"We've
been biting our tongues and haven't replied to the rumours. We've made
sure our clients are aware of our situation and keep in close contact with
them. If anyone wants the truth, all they need to do is contact us."
The
representative alluded to the fact that World Wide Tele Sports (WWTS) out of
Antigua remains an important partner and has signed on for yet another year
while World Gaming's second biggest online casino and sportsbook licensee,
Sinsation Intertainment, moving to IQL is yet another sign of things to
come.
"We
have lost some sportsbook clients but we've also picked up several new
ones," the representative stated. "Our client base is pretty
much even right now."
