Expect dry track conditions for the Preakness Stakes 2017 race this coming Saturday but continue to monitor the situation as storms were expected the evening prior and any shift in forecast could result in a rainy race day.

Partly cloudy conditions were anticipated with a 10 percent chance of rain at post time, quite the contrast from the Friday evening forecast that calls for an 80 percent chance of rain.

Heavy rains had fallen just prior to this year’s Kentucky Derby with winner Always Dreaming enjoying his romp through the mud.
