Wynn Shares Fall More Than 8 Percent Following Disappointing Results

Wynn Resorts shares fell 8.4% to US$67.59, a day after the casino operator reported third-quarter results below expectations. Las Vegas Sands fell 2.8%.

The company said its net income and revenue declined primarily due to a 37.9 decrease in revenue from the company's two Macau casinos.

New Jersey Should Have Sports Betting by Super Bowl as Rehearing Granted

The 3rd Circuit Court has vacated its ruling regarding the legality of sports betting in the state of New Jersey.

The professional sports leagues and NCAA had filed suit to prevent the activity in the Garden State. 

This is being viewed as a victory by New Jersey politicians backing the initiative.

CNBC ‘Money Talks’ to Re-Air First Season

The sports handicapping show “Money Talks”, airing on CNBC Primetime, will re-air the first season in anticipation for a third season pick up. Correction: A third season of the show has not officially been announced at this time.

The reality show follows sports handicapper Steve Stevens (real name Darin Notaro) and his Las Vegas-based crew.  Stevens runs the betting site VIP Sports, which has enjoyed significant growth as a result of the show.

Chicago Area Gambling Raid Results in 13 Arrests: Luxury Cars Seized

12 men and one woman were arrested or ticketed Thursday and charged as part of a what authorities deemed to be an illegal gambling operation run from a Naperville strip mall.

Naperville is a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.

Illinois State Police and agents of the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group (MEG) assisted Naperville police in "a five-month-long investigation into an illegal gambling ring".

Police confiscated approximately $25,000 during the raid.  They also seized a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan, a 2014 E63 AMG Mercedes and a 2011 Porsche Panamera.

DraftKings CEO Jason Robins Says He Hasn’t Heard From NFL Yet Regarding Scandal

Daily Fantasy Sports company DraftKings CEO Jason Robins appeared on Fox Business Network Wednesday insisting an employee did nothing wrong by playing on a competing site and winning $350,000, insisting at the time he made his picks that the employee in question did not have access to insider information.
