It Will Be Tough Running CAP

Feb 24 2009 - 10:53am

The fallout continues in the split between partners at Casino Affiliate Programs (better known as CAP).  The two co-founders have gone on the defensive and began posting on several message boards Monday accusing each other of withholding funds.  There were allegations that one or both men were behind a slow paying online poker room, CardSpike.com.   Both men have denied any role in CardSpike's ownership up until this point.

Said one of the co-founders, commenting on the Gambling911.com website Monday night:

"There are indeed major problems at CAP and I am actively fighting to regain control of the community and company I founded. I am banned at CAP so I will use all outlets available to me to stay in touch with online gambling community. I am hopeful that a resolution can be reached, but because ********** removed all company funds from our bank accounts last Friday and is not accepting my calls, has blocked me on Skype and blocked my emails to anyone on my staff at Affiliate Media Inc its difficult to imagine that happening.

"I am actively pursuing this with legal counsel and I ask everyone to assist me in anyway possible way to correct this grave injustice. Please vote with your pens, checkbooks and keyboards and until the Professor is restored to the community I would ask that the Programs who have known me and worked with our community for years tell Mr. Jolly no more support until you do what's right.

If he is willing to do this to the majority shareholder of the company just imagine what he will do to you if I am disallowed to keep him in check. I also ask all affiliates of CAP to demand the Professor be readmitted to CAP immediately."

Questions remained as to the viability of what had become quite a successful business model in recent years.  The CAP networking events typically attract over 1000 online casino affiliates and operators, but it is ********and ********* who are often identified with the organizational functions.  ***** is more the "party guy" who spends much of his time socializing with a handful of CAP members.  It is common to attend one of these events and not event bump into *****.

In the past, ***** has been reprimanded by Gambling911.com management for his attempts to bed Senior International Correspondent, Jenny Woo.

"He would fly into Miami and try to arrange for me to work at CAP events behind Gambling911.com management's backs, lying and cheating, thinking he could get into my pants," Woo said.  "I would just play him like a fiddle, get a free meal and drinks, then report back to Management."

Woo admits she missed attending the CAP events, however.

"They were lots of fun and I made so many wonderful affiliate friends, plus I really like Lou and his wife," she said.

Update:  A settlement was reached by both individuals on May 29, 2009.  Both men have attempted to make right since these issues first surfaced and, as such, their names have been removed from public record of the Gambling911.com website.

HA HA

I hate CAP and especially that dickhead Jolly Wanker. I hope the forum and events die off and CrAP people get thrown in jail.

Errrr

Just want to clairfy that I do not work for CAP - I work for a company called iGaming Business which is a completely seperate company and is owned by a PLC on the London AIM market so you can easily check this. We organised the events together not on behalf of CAP and to date I haven't had any offers :-) There will be some news released next week with regards to the events. Thanks Alex

Lou and Warren

Both Lou and Warren are both a pair of liars as they denied complicity with the CardSpike Scandal but later they admit to their guilt and complicity with CardSpike. It would definitely be deserving for both Lou and Warren to be tried by the American Justice Department and sentenced each to about 10-15 years in prison with no opportunity for parole. This might be good for Lou especially as the lazy fat ass that he is , they might force him to eat properly and diet in prison.

10 to 15 Years in Prison Without Parole?

I think that's a little bit overboard? After all, I think the CardSpike affiliates are now getting paid. What Lou and Warren did is a textbook example of what's been happening in this industry for the past 10 years. The biggest punishment you can bestow upon them is lost trust. I don't think there are a lot of people who really want to see Lou or Warren behind bars for 15 years and personally I think it's bad karma to wish that upon someone guilty of the improprieties they're alleged to have committed.

If jail just isn't your thing.....

CAP's Law firm's slogan is "If jail just isn't your thing" That is the slogan of the California based Yocca Law Firm ( yocca.com) which was retained by Affiliate Media. You have to see Yocca's videos: http://www.yocca.com/demo/Club_Fed.mov http://www.yocca.com/demo/Mug_shots.mov http://www.yocca.com/demo/Armani.mov http://www.yocca.com/demo/Orange_Juice.mov I think it is plainly obvious what these two individuals are preparing for at this stage. Now I am going to rent the movie "Stir Crazy"

Lou and Jolly

After seeing all this, all I can say is: Frig Lou, and Frig Warren. They were exposed as complete liars who now want our assistance? Screw them. They get NOTHING. They raped our industry, lied to us, got caught, and now, each one is competing to be the more honorable of the two? Screw them... They are both leeches on society, who milked us for what we were worth. They will not get my support, period. The only money I am going to send is to Jenny, to buy a friggin industrial sized chastity belt so that Warren can use his right hand for what he did to us. Go to hell, both of you.

Professor sold databases

Well guess we know how Lou will be getting money now. Saw this post tonight.: Maybe it isn;t so bad his partner shut him off the servers, who knows what he would of been selling. http://www.hundredpercentgambling.com/2007/03/casino-affiliate-programme-owner-lou.htm

The end of CAP

Funny, without knowing either of these guys, and just being an online member in the forums, I can equate this story to a privately-help company that I worked for years ago, where there was a falling out of the 2 principals, due to greed, corruption, and personality clash. This fits that bill to a tee. I can unquivicably predict there will be NO MORE CAP shortly. Everyone loses out here: the affiliate members, Jolly, and Lou. Nothing lasts forever, and their greed has cost them and its members, a real good thing. Flippping burgers pays $ 10/hour, and that's where we will see these 2 clowns next.

When Lou and cardspike stole

When Lou and cardspike stole money from affiliates , he tried to silence them by banning them from his forum. Now someone stole from him and he is complaining and wants help. THats the universe for you, you get what you deserve. No one should help the professor or warren. This was the final nail in cap's coffin.

Well...

You can't be to bright if you no longer have any access or control of your own company. I know I would not have allowed a partner with access to withdrawing money without a counter signature, or have a partner be able to have the only access to the site, forums or servers, with the capacity to pull a hostile takeover...IF that is what it was. I seem to recall reading an article on here which said Lou quit. I also seem to recall that they had nothing to do with a cardroom or cardspike whatever it is called, swearing up an down they had nothing to do with cardspike, and now he admits it. So what REALLY was his problem in London? That he got caught double/triple dipping the industry, gettig caught for being the one who was not paying the affiliates or that someone posted the truth behind him, his company his ofice addy (home) and the connection to cardspike? Got him upset enough that he wanted to fight? Looks like he picked the wrong dancing partner. Seems to me that he is only crying foul now because he got locked out, and so has decided to come clean, in regards to cardspike...YET it wasn't his decision to operate a cardroom...an ppl still saying he is a bright business man? He had a lucrative business going, and then got greedy an went for a cardroom too, while double dipping the affiliates and the cardroom. YET he only tells the truth in regards to the connection AFTER he gets locked out, and of course it was NEVER his idea...he just went along for the ride? HAHAHAHAH, yea OK!. Not so sure about the BRIGHT business man theory, and will not trust either of those 2.

Thought he Quit?

I thought an earlier article fabiano said he quit CAP? If he is or was the founder he certainly isn't very smart for being blocked from bank accounts, his servers, his own company. lolol, I don't think I would be to interested in dealing with someone who can be run out of his company so utterly thoroughly. If Someone was blocking my calls, not allowing staff members to have any contact or access to my bank accounts, I wouldn't keep hitting redial, I would be making a personal visit to the location. Seems like he has no problems fighting from what I read earlier in regards to CAP London. I also like how he includes vote with pens, and checkbooks! HAHAHAHA, what good that gonna do him, since his partner has the access to the accounts! This is so pitiful it is almost humurous! Doesn't seem to be a very smart business man, to be completely shut out from what was apparently his own company. think I will look for other options. Cheers

From Those I Have Spoken to in The Biz...

Everyone has told me they think Lou IS a very smart businessman. I have witnessed this time and time again whenever there are partnerships in this industry. You can be the brightest businessman in the world, if you are bound to a partnership in online gambling your chances of having a rift art probably better than 80 percent I would say. Marc Lesnick, CAP's competitor, learned this a long long time ago (without getting into details). Once he went solo is when he truly started to see success. So I wouldn't necessarily count Lou out just yet. Some food for thought.

I think you are wrong...

Warren is a much smarter business man and I think he will prevail through all of this. Lou is too much of a loose cannon and I think that this will be his ultimate downfall.
