Phil Gordon on Tom Brady: ‘I Know He Cheats at Blackjack Too, He’s a Card Counte

In a shocking tweet made by the host of Bravo’s “Celebrity Poker Showdown”, Phil Gordon alleges that New England Patriot starting quarterback Tom Brady routinely cheats at blackjack while playing in casinos.

From Phil Gordon:

Hey, I know for sure #TomBrady "cheats" at Blackjack -- he's a card counter (I taught him).  About the same advantage gain - 1-2%?

Brady was suspended four regular season NFL games for allegedly having knowledge of underinflated footballs during January's AFC championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.  The Patriots were also fined a record $1 million.

Investigator Ted Wells, an attorney hired by the league, determined "it is more probable than not" that Brady was "at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities" of locker room attendant Jim McNally and equipment assistant John Jastremski.

Oddsmakers were listing the Pats with 10-1 odds of winning the 2016 Super Bowl following news of the suspension.  They had opened at 5-1.

Reports from ESPN Wednesday suggests that Brady is now lawyered up.

"Brady’s team is unreal,” a sourced revealed to ESPN's Adam Schefter. “Talented, big-name lawyers: Yee, Kessler, etc. Prediction=won’t miss a game.”
