PAP Organizers Ensure Payouts to CardSpike Affiliates

Jan 8 2009 - 11:14am

The controversy surrounding online poker room, CardSpike, continues with Poker Affiliation Programs (PAP) organizers ensuring that affiliate partners will be paid by the troubled site following complaints that many have been waiting for months to receive payments.

CardSpike.com received a "seal of approval" by the PAP, which has since been revoked.

"We are working behind the scenes with CardSpike trying to get the payments issued as fast as possible," a PAP spokesperson stated.

Lou Fabiano, who oversees the PAP, attempted to explain the situation involving the slow payments.

"CardSpike always said there were data transfer issues and that the stats being displayed were not accurate. That's what was holding up affiliate payments."

Furthermore, Cake Poker, the network that hosts CardSpike, informed its affiliates they would be fully paid as well.  Cake does not have an ownership interest in CardSpike.

Fabiano also informed the PAP members that they would be revoking CardSpike's seal of approval due to the mounting complaints.

This week, Gambling Portal Webmasters Association President, Michael Corfman, issued a damning statement alleging that some of the PAP organizers had ownership stakes in CardSpike.

"I was actually told many months ago that the principals at CAP were the beneficial owners of Cardspike," Corfman admitted on his forum.

Responding to the allegations, Fabiano told Online Casino Reports he has no involvement in the troubled card room.

"Cardspike is not controlled or managed by CAP, PAP, Affiliate Media, Warren Jolly (organizer) or Lou "The Professor" Fabiano.

"CAP, PAP, Affiliate Media, Warren Jolly, Lou "The Professor" Fabiano and all other personnel of CAP have absolutely no ownership interest, no profits interest and no beneficial interest whatsoever in Cardspike.

"Any statements or malicious rumors to the contrary are untrue and unfair."

Lou Fabiano Lies To The Industry

Lou Fabiano's statements are completely fabricated. How is it that Lou Fabiano is the only person who has been "working behind the scenes with CardSpike", yet noone else in the industry has been able to communicate or verify who the owners are? Daaaaaawwww, because Lou and Warren own the site. Lou, you're full of it!

For The Record

Michael Corfman and Sue Schneider are considered to be two of the foremost industry experts. So if either one of them confirms something related to the industry, there is a 99.9 percent chance it is true. Anyone whose been around the industry long enough knows where I am coming from here.

Warren Jolly & Lou Fabiano Should Step Down?

Warren Jolly and Lou Fabiano, the owners of CAP/PAP, have smeared the industry with their deception. Do they really think that they can go up against a guy who was willing to take on the DOJ and WON??? My money is on Michael Corfman!!! WHO'S TAKING BETS??? SERIOUSLY, IS THERE A BOOK TAKING BETS ON THIS BECAUSE I'M ALL-IN FOR CORFMAN!!! I'LL PUT MY MOM'S HOUSE ON THE LINE FOR THIS ONE!!!

Warren Jolly & Lou Fabiano Attack Michael Corfman

I can't believe thos two schmucks, WARREN JOLLY AND LOU FABIANO, are attacking Michael Corfman for posting their personal details in the APCW video when it's clearly public information which anyone can find here: They have the nerve to turn this around on Michael when all he's doing is exposing a rogue business!!
