Oklahoma City, Tulsa Area Bookies: Betting on the Sooners, Cowboys

The index number for the term “betting” has dropped from near 100 in during the month of September in 2007 to 37 last September.

In Tulsa last September, the index number peaked at 36 out of 100 for “betting” search inquiries.  For the past few years, “College Football” search inquires in Tulsa during the month of September peaked at between 73 and 80 on the search index.

These numbers are all an indication of the significant betting frenzy that occurs during the months of September and October in and around the Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas.
