Nevada Plans to Roll Out Lowest Online Poker Licensing Fees

SBR analyst Natalie Rydstrom discusses the recent International iGaming News reporting on Nevada beginning to license online poker rooms and Spain's list of "approved operators".

Las Vegas casinos are planning to offer the lowest igaming licensing fees in the US.  We are talking just $500,000 for Year One and $250,000 per year to renew.

Of course, Nevada is currently the only state that is licensing online poker sites at this time.

Gambling911.com expects the market competitive forces to come into play, however, with New Jersey and Delaware vying to become the next states to begin licensing Internet poker companies…and we have a sneaking suspicion they will either match or undercut the Nevada pricing.

Ms. Rydstrom also discusses the General Directorate for the Regulation of Online Gaming in Spain release of a list of 53 operators now licensed, which includes the likes of Will Hill, Bwin, Bet365, SportingBet, PaddyPower.
