Casino Robberies

Media Man and Gambling911 are deeply disturbed by the recent increase in casino robberies and heists and poker tournaments.

Of late it seems "the mob" never left Vegas, as international versions of "the mob" are alive and well in parts including Texas, California, Belgium

We note that a few years again Aussie Casino kings Crown Casino got robbed at "Aussie Millions" time, but as is usually the case, the gangsters got nabbed.

American poker living legend Doyle Brunson recently revealed to Gambling911 that he's lived thru 5 poker robberies! Only 5 more to go and your will be a (pussy) cat Doyle's me boy.

This late mail in from the Virgin Islands region...

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic - Dominican authorities have arrested at least six men accused of stealing more than $111,000 from a hotel casino in the capital of Santo Domingo.

Authorities say an internal security guard at the Hotel Melia and another suspect spent a month planning the heist.

The government said in a statement issued Saturday that police also seized three getaway cars.

Police say the gunmen burst into the casino on March 14 and seized several boxes stacked with money. Authorities are looking for two more suspects.

Media Man from "down under" in Aussie land advises that Australia advises that in the tradition of turning negatives into positives, Mr Packer will employ more Indigenous Australians in the coming months, some of which will be earmarked for those plastic handcuffs.  James and co, make sure some of them also get fitted out with real guns (no plastic toy ones)!

Oh, online casinos are looking like a more appealing option for punters all the time. Check out the new Media Man branded online casino http://www.mediamancasino.com

(robbers, thieves and gangsters not welcome... ok, maybe a gangster or two). Media Man, PartyGaming, Microgaming, Playtech, Captain Cooks, Virgin Games and PKR remain on the lookout for casino robots, player collusion and other illegal tactics undesirables may try to employ in an online casino environment, so the reader has been forewarned. No "U.B" bots or scandals here.

Till next casino and poker heist, Media Man signing off from the Ganglands - the New South Wales - Victoria "Underbelly" connection, via Bondi's "golden mile"! Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi, USA
