Jimmy Snuka Charged in Girlfriend’s Murder 32 Years Later: Odds on His Fate?
Oddsmakers may be tempted to pull the trigger on this one. There is definitely a demand for Court outcome wagering though sportsbooks over the years have shown a reluctance to offer bets that have any tie to murder.

So now we have an intriguing case of murder that oddsmakers may be tempted to offer odds on, that of professional wrestler Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, who has been charged in the murder of his one-time girlfriend…..35 years after it happened.
“It is crazy to think that the oddsmakers would not have offered odds on the outcome of the OJ Simpson trial back in the 1990’s,” notes Gambling911.com Senior Editor Payton O’Brien. “Someone will need to take the lead and start taking bets on these cases.”
Snuka was one of the most popular figures in professional wrestling. The charges on Tuesday seemed to come out of left field.
Snuka was arrested in Lehigh Valley, in the backyard of our own Thomas Somach, who is now monitoring the situation.

Snuka, 72, was arrested Tuesday morning after he surrendered to a Lehigh County detective and arraigned at 1:50 p.m. from the Lehigh County Central Booking Center. He was sent to county jail, but later posted $100,000 bail.

Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin re-opened the case last year, prompted in part by a Morning Call investigation that raised questions about the death of Snuka's 23-year-old girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, in May 1983. The Call story revealed a never-before-seen autopsy report that labeled the case a homicide.
The grand jury's term ended at the end of July.
Snuka had been at a WWF taping at the Allentown Fairgrounds on May 10, 1983, and returned to his Whitehall Township motel room to find Argentino, of Brooklyn, gasping for air and oozing yellow fluid from her mouth and nose, records show, that paper reported.
Argentino was pronounced dead the next day.
TMZ is reporting that Snuka lied in his own autobiography as to what really occurred.
Long story short ... cops say Snuka told investigators in 1983 that Nancy injured her head while the two were "fooling around" outside of their motel room in Allentown, PA when he pushed her and she fell, striking her head.
Fast forward to 2012 ... when Snuka published his autobiography, "Superfly: The Jimmy Snuka Story" in which Jimmy's story changes RADICALLY.
In the book, Snuka says Nancy slipped and fell on her own while going to the bathroom at a rest stop. He makes no mention of an altercation whatsoever.
