Gambling News: Ylon Schwartz Enjoys More WSOP Success and First Bracelet

Ylon Schwartz has just won his first World Series of Poker bracelet at Event #27:  $1,500 buy-in H.O.R.S.E..  Schwartz was best known for making the final table of the 2008 World Series of Poker, finishing in 4th place and taking home nearly $3.8 million.  He also briefly dated Gambling911.com reporter Jenny Woo.

NBA Finals Game 3 odds and the latest odds to win the Euro 2012 are also covered below.

As a result of his win, Schwartz takes home $267,081.

From Nolan Dalla of the World Series of Poker:

Indeed, the entire 40-plus hour duration of the tournament was a supreme test of mental and physical fortitude for Schwartz, who cut his competitive teeth in the musty chess backrooms of Brooklyn and anachronistic park-scene of Manhattan, an atypical background which unquestionably provided a strategic pedigree and competitive edge over many of the world’s best all-around poker players now assembled in Las Vegas.

Schwartz’s victory in this event, once again, validated H.O.R.S.E.’s long-held reputation as poker’s superlative trial and tribulation on the question of comprehensive skill.  The game requires one to master, not just one form of poker, but five games in all – including Hold’em, Omaha High-Low Split, Razz, Seven-Card Stud, and Seven-Card Stud High-Low Split.

NBA Finals Game 3 Betting Line at Miami Heat -4

BetOnline

BetOnline.com was offering the Miami Heat as a -4 home favorite against the Oklahoma City Thunder.  This series was tied at 1-1.  Some books do have this spread at -4.5.  Betting action on this game was only slightly favoring OKC at 55 percent on the spread, however, the total of 193.5 was setting 90 percent on the OVER.

Euro 2012 Odds to Win (Updated)

Germany and Spain were both listed with +225 odds of winning the Euro 2012 with a payout potential of US$22.50 for every US$10 bet.

France was at 7/1 odds, Italy 12/1, England 12/1, Portugal 12/1, Croatia 30/1, Netherlands 30/1, Ukraine 80/1, Denmark 50/1, Czech Republic 30/1, and Greece 50/1.  Russia was eliminated by the Greeks on Saturday while the Czech Republic knocked out the host nation, Poland.
